If your injury happened at a specific moment in time; a fall, a twist, a strain while lifting, or some other external force, it's usually covered by ACC, even if it happened a while ago. ACC can also cover gradual-process injuries, like repetitive strain from work or sport, so it's not always about one single moment. If you're not sure, just come in — we can help work out whether it's an ACC claim and lodge it for you if it qualifies.
