Your body has been through a lot! Pregnancy, birth, and the huge physical adjustment that follows. Postnatal training isn't about "bouncing back," it's about rebuilding strength and function safely, at a pace that respects where you actually are.
Alice brings years of hands-on experience working with postpartum women, with a particular focus on core and pelvic floor recovery, restoring strength through the whole body, and helping you return to the activities you want back in your life, whether that's running, lifting, or just picking up your kids without worry. Programming is adapted around birth history, breastfeeding, sleep deprivation, and whatever stage of recovery you're in.
This is patient, progressive training built by someone who genuinely understands this season of life.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause bring real, physical changes — shifts in strength, bone density, body composition, sleep, and energy. This isn't something to just push through.
Alice works with women through this stage of life using an evidence-informed, movement-based approach: strength training to protect bone and muscle mass, programming that adapts to your energy and symptoms day to day, and a coaching style that listens first. Sessions are built around what your body needs right now, not a generic program.
Whether you're just starting to notice changes or you're well into this transition, this is training that works with your body, not against it.

Staying strong, mobile, and independent as you age isn't about avoiding movement, it's about the right kind. Alice's approach to training older adults is built on evidence-based strength and function work, helping you stay confident on your feet, protect bone density, and keep doing the things that matter to you, whether that's gardening, playing with grandkids, or simply moving through your day with ease.
Alice has completed postgraduate training in the management of older adults, including specialised study through the Institute of Clinical Excellence focused on musculoskeletal care for ageing populations. Sessions are tailored to your current ability and goals — building strength and confidence at a pace that works for you, whatever your starting point.

Exercise plays a genuine role in managing Parkinson's. Supporting mobility, balance, strength, and quality of life alongside your wider care team. Training needs to be specific, safe, and consistent to make a real difference.
Alice has completed specialised training through Exercise is Medicine NZ focused on Parkinson's-specific exercise prescription, and brings that knowledge into every session. Programming is built around your symptoms and stage, with a focus on functional movement, balance, and maintaining independence for as long as possible.

Movement has a real role to play in supporting people living with dementia, helping maintain physical function, mobility, and quality of life for as long as possible, alongside the wider care and support around them.
Alice brings genuine experience working with people living with dementia, along with training in this area, and is actively involved in the local community, speaking at dementia support groups. Sessions are gentle, structured, and adapted to individual ability, with a focus on keeping people moving safely and confidently.
Our in-house Personal Trainer, Alice, works with clients at our Warkworth clinic to build strength, improve fitness, and reach individual performance goals, whether that's general conditioning, sport-specific training, or simply moving better in everyday life. Sessions are tailored, one-on-one, and designed around you.
Physiotherapy Led Strengthening
For clients who want strength training built on a clinical foundation, our physiotherapists also offer private Strength & Conditioning sessions.
If you're with us for an ACC claim, strength work is likely already built into your treatment sessions as part of your rehab.
This private service is for when you want to go further: additional dedicated sessions focused purely on progressive strength and conditioning, outside the scope of a standard claim. It's ideal if you're returning from injury, managing a complex or persistent condition, or simply want your programme informed by in-depth movement assessment and biomechanical expertise, not just general fitness principles.
